Yadhav Bhandari

Yadhav Bhandari is a distinguished environmental advocate and the Founder President of Save the Planet USA. Born on Aug 29, 1976, in Panchthar District, Nepal, he completed his postgraduate degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University. Yadhav’s deep-rooted passion for nature began in childhood, where he collected plants and established a nursery on his land. In 2007, he founded the Save the Planet mission in Nepal, launching impactful initiatives such as the Highway Greenery Project and the Kathmandu Green Campaign. His philosophy, “Love The Nature: Art of Sustainable Development,” celebrates the bond between humanity and the environment, marked by an annual event on February 14. Yadhav has been recognized internationally, receiving the Green Difference Award from Green School USA and representing Nepal at various global forums. Through his work, he aims to inspire others to embrace sustainability and foster a harmonious relationship with nature for future generations.

Objectives

My objectives are to drive innovative thinking and implement effective solutions in the environmental sector and social work through result-oriented interventions that create measurable impacts. I focus on designing and executing both short-term and long-term programs centered on nature conservation and climate change adaptation, utilizing research-based strategies to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of my initiatives.
